At Learning Explorer language school, you’ll only receive the highest standard of resources when it comes to our courses. Our Thai Teachers are highly qualified, with most being Bachelor’s or Master’s holders, and certified to teach Thai as a foreign language. They are also bilingual and proficient in Thai and English, thus offering an added advantage to teaching in a multicultural country such as Singapore.

Our Thai Course curriculum and syllabus are closely aligned with CU-TFL (The Chulalongkorn University Proficiency Test of Thai as a Foreign Language) as a standardised exam designed by the Sirindhorn Thai Language Institute to evaluate Thai language proficiency. The course aims to improve the speaking and listening skills of the students, and to learn through conversations in class.

Beginner Thai Language Course Learning Objectives:

Our students can expect to learn:

A simple vocabulary that includes many various words they can use over the course of a normal day.
The ability to hold simple conversations about everyday matters, such as making purchases in stores, asking for directions and ordering food from restaurants.
Basic reading skills, which can help prepare individuals who are interested in more advanced courses.
Occasional pointers about Thai culture will serve to make the Thai language much more comprehensible to interested individuals.
Our course is suitable for beginners, who can expect to learn approximately 200 words and build a functional vocabulary to create daily conversations and everyday sentences.

What makes our Thai Language Course different?

1. Our Thai Course curriculum and syllabus are produced to align with CU-TFL

2. Certified Thai Language Teachers who have relevant teaching experience and work background in teaching Thai as a foreign language.

3. Our Bilingual Teachers are graduates with Bachelor’s or Master’s and are certified by Universities in Thailand to teach the Thai language.

4. Learning Thai tools such as Audio files and Video class recordings are effective in producing better results when students are able to review them before/after class.

5. Twice the learning support – course book and audio files will be made available to students so they can have more practice.

6. Dynamic learning tools which are available 24/7, including Thai course book & audio files and in-house recorded class videos.

7. Both Physical in-person classes and Online Zoom classes are available. Students can interchangeably anytime.

8. Our Group Class offers a well-paced class schedule with accessible support to our teachers via WhatsApp and emails.

9. Our Private Class allows for great flexibility in scheduling so students can choose their own date, time and venue for the class without missing any lesson.

10. The Thai language courses are offered in City centre, Jurong East & Tampines campuses.

Interactive and engaging role-playing activities give students a better chance to practice the language.
The course fee for a 16-hour course with 8 sessions x 2 hours each is $350.
